I am Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) and head of the research group "Philosophie mit Schwerpunkt Logik" in the Department of Philosophy at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität
Jena. My core interests lie in logic and argumentation, philosophy of language, and epistemology, but I also work on philosophy of action,
metaphysics, and the didactics of philosophy.
Earlier, I taught at Goethe-Universität Frankfurt,
at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster and at Freie Universität Berlin. This is where I received my PhD in 2014 and my MA in 2009, after a year as a Visiting
Graduate Student at Stanford University.
I live in Düsseldorf, together with my wife, the linguist Kilu von Prince, and our son
Leonhard.
